Members,
Happy New Year! 🎉
I hope you all had wonderful times over the holidays with your friends and families and are entering 2025 rested and well. In my household, one of my kids shared the flu with everyone as an early Christmas present this year. That’s a gift I would have liked to return, but we’re over it now, and I feel (mostly) ready for the legislature to return tomorrow for the first year of the 114th General Assembly.
Over the holidays, TCSA began implementing a number of changes to serve you better. You may have noticed that our website was down for a few days as we migrated over to a newly designed and updated website. The staff did tremendous work getting all this ready. It was part of a shift to a new software system to manage our conferences and events, member information and more.
You should have received emails over the last few days inviting you to set up a new profile in our system. If you get emails from something called “Engagifii,” that’s coming from us, and you can trust them. Basic personal information for all mayors, commissioners, and highway officials was imported, but you may want to enhance your profile in this new system, so you should definitely activate it. We will soon be opening registration for the County Government Day conference, and you will need to create new login credentials to register for this event.
As with any major change, I expect there will be some hiccups along the way and you may need help registering for the first time in the new system. Please call our office @ (615) 532-3767 if you encounter any difficulties and we will assist you. You may have to leave a message if everyone is busy helping others. If you can be patient as we learn the new system and make these changes, I believe this change will pay off great dividends in the future. At first, the system may only appear to do many of the same functions as our old system. Actually, it has much more capability to enhance our offerings and integrate different functions of the association. You will see more of those capabilities as we get used to the software and implement the changes.
As always, let us know how we can better serve you. We hope to see many of you next month at County Government Day in Nashville!
