Interested in serving in the leadership of TCSA? TCSA Board nominations for 2026 are now available. Our board has staggered terms, so positions open each year, and there are several opportunities to serve this year. We will fill these positions during the upcoming TCSA Fall Conference in Murfreesboro this October.
For the upcoming 2026/2027 year, we are looking for:
- a West Tennessee county mayor representative (3-year term)
- a Middle Tennessee county highway superintendent representative (3-year term)
- an East Tennessee county commissioner representative (3-year term)
As a result of election outcomes, there are additional vacancies in the following positions:
- We will need to fill the remainder of the term of a Middle Tennessee county mayor (two-year term)
- We will need to fill the remainder of the term of an East Tennessee county highway superintendent (two-year term)
- We will need to fill the remainder of the term of a Middle Tennessee county commissioner (two-year term)
Every year, as the officers move up in the ranks, the membership also selects a 2nd Vice President.
- We are due for the incoming 2nd Vice President to be a county commissioner from Middle Tennessee.
Also this year, due to the tragic death this summer of incoming President Joe Brooks, Claiborne County Mayor, we will be filling the vacancy in this position at the fall conference.
- This position is scheduled to be filled by an East Tennessee County Mayor.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates should complete the 2026 TCSA Board Nominations Google Form with basic information about their service in county government and their involvement with the association and its affiliates, including any experience they have had serving in leadership roles. To be considered for appointment, your county must be current in its dues to TCSA.
