TCSA's 2024 Fall Conference + Trade Show Registration Now Open

We are excited to announce that TCSA’s highly anticipated 2024 Annual Conference & Trade Show is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for October 23 - 25, 2024, and join us at Embassy Suites in Rutherford County (Murfreesboro), Tennessee, for an exceptional event filled with opportunities to network, learn, and innovate at the county government level.
Registration Details:
- Conference Registration: Ensure your spot by registering on the TCSA website.
- You can also print a paper registration form and mail it to the TCSA office at 226 Anne Dallas Dudley Blvd, Suite 700, Nashville, TN, 37219.
- Conference registration costs
- TCSA County Officials: $375
- Other conference registrants: $400
- Spouses/Guests: $100
- On-site registration is available, but space is limited. We encourage early registration to guarantee your participation and proper name badge availability.
Hotel Lodging (Reserved Separately from Conference Registration):
- We have secured special rates at Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, conveniently located at the conference venue. Book your stay early to take advantage of these exclusive discount rates before the room block is full. To reserve your room, you can reserve online (recommended, quickest and most secure) or call the Embassy Suites guest line to request a room reservation confirmation

- Call 615-890-4464 and use the group name "Tennessee County Services Association" to reserve at the conference rate.
- Room Rate: $189.00 per night
- IMPORTANT RESERVATION POLICY CHANGE EFFECTIVE THIS YEAR: Guests will be charged a one-night deposit for EVERY individual room reservation made (even if they are in the same name) at the hotel. This deposit is refundable if you cancel more than 24 hours before arrival. PLEASE ONLY MAKE ROOM RESERVATIONS YOU KNOW WILL BE USED! This allows as many of our members as possible to be in the conference hotel. Every year, we have counties cancel a significant number of rooms just prior to the event.
- Overflow Lodging Accommodations: TCSA will let you know of overflow hotel accommodations soon after rooms at the Embassy Suites are booked. Please check your email regularly for more information about accommodations for this year's Annual Conference!

- Dynamic Keynote Speakers: Hear from leading experts and influential thought leaders who will share their insights on the latest trends and challenges facing county and local governments. These speakers will share at the TCSA General Sessions.
- County Gov't-Focused Breakout Sessions: We are planning breakout sessions and workshops designed to provide actionable strategies and solutions to enhance your county’s performance. These breakout sessions will occur on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with county officials across the state, state agency officials, industry experts, and vendors during our numerous networking events, including receptions, breakout sessions, and more.
- Trade Show Exhibits: Explore cutting-edge county government products and services from more than 70 top vendors. You'll also discover solutions that can drive efficiency and effectiveness in your county's operations.
- Spouse/Guest Program: You must be registered for the conference as a spouse/guest to attend this program. We are working on a fun trip for spouses. Details to follow!

New This Year! TCSA Trade Show to Open Earlier
New in 2024! TCSA's Trade Show will be opening in the Exhibit Hall of Embassy Suites on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 11 am CT. In years past, the exhibitors' trade show has opened in the afternoon; however, after feedback from our members and respected vendors, we have worked to open the TCSA Trade Show even earlier!
If you're in the area, we invite you to check out the TCSA Trade Show while you wait for your association's meeting, hotel check-in, etc. Thank you to our vendors who work to provide valuable goods and services to TCSA's membership!

TCSA Now Accepting 2024 County Success Story Award Nominations
At this year's Fall Conference & Trade Show, TCSA plans to recognize counties who have demonstrated excellence in governance, innovation in problem solving, and best practices for delivering services.
To be considered for a County Success Story award, the project or achievement should demonstrate:
- an innovative solution to a county's problem
- a sustained pattern of excellence in government
- a best practice that increased efficiency in the delivery of county services or resulted in significant savings to taxpayers
- a new approach or the use of new technology to deliver services or
- Improved cooperation or coordination between county offices or local governments, which resulted in enhanced delivery of services.
Nominations for county success stories, which will be awarded at TCSA's 2024 Fall Conference & Trade Show, will be accepted until October 16, 2024. We look forward to hearing more about your county's successes!

Things to Do in Rutherford County
While this year's business will take place at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, there are plenty of fun options to choose from during your downtime at the conference. Outside of the TCSA Trade Show, here are a few fun options for you after the association's business is closed at this year's conference:
- Visit the Avenue nearby for shopping, dining, etc. The main host hotel, Embassy Suites, is near one of Murfreesboro's biggest, best shopping experiences - the Avenue! It's a walkable area that features dining, shopping, and plenty of other experiences to share with fellow county officials during your stay in Rutherford County.
- Downtown Murfreesboro offers a more historic look at Rutherford County. Nearby downtown Murfreesboro is just a few minutes' drive from Embassy Suites, and it's full of shopping and dining experiences, too! See some of the original architecture and style that defines Murfreesboro to this day.
- Fountains at Gateway is full of dining options and unique experiences. Fountains at Gateway is the new go-to place in Murfreesboro for restaurants, shops, and green space. Conveniently located on Medical Center Parkway, it’s the perfect place to grab dinner and browse all the unique shops on site. Enjoy the ambient string lighting while dining on the Steakhouse Five or Just Love Coffee patios, sway to the melodies of live musicians on the Pocket Park stage, or take a peek at the fish gliding through the koi pond.
